I almost did not write a review on this product because it is so hyped-up. However, the Anastasia of Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette has become my FAVORITE palette in my collection.
I held off on buying this palette for a long time. At first glance, it appeared that this palette contained a ton of a warm brown shades (that I already have in my collection) and a lot of “crazy” pink shades that I would never wear. After hearing so many people rave about this palette I finally decided to buy it.
This palette is incredible. I love the pink packaging (although I hate the material, it is going to get so dirty). The colors are so pigmented and blendable! I have not stopped using this palette since the day I bought it. I even received another palette in the mail and I literally cannot bear to use it. (So dramatic).
My two favorite looks with the Modern Renaissance palette are my everyday work look (Golden Ochre on the lid and a combination of Raw Siena and Burnt Orange in the crease) and my more “adventurous” look of Primavera on the lid, a mix of Raw Siena and Burn Orange as transition shades, and Red Ochre in the crease. This palette is a MUST-HAVE in your collection.
