If you can’t tell, I am on a Tarte Cosmetics kick. One of the best products I have tried is the new Tarte Cosmetics Rainforest of the Sea Filtered Light Setting Powder.
Here is what Tarte Cosmetics says about their new loose powder:
A weightless, makeup setting and baking powder with tiny, light-reflecting particles that blur the look of pores and fine lines. The loose, vanilla-tinted formula blends invisibly to absorb shine and set your makeup to a matte finish.
Previously, my holy grail powders have been this one for setting my face, and this one for my under-eyes. One of my favorite things about the new Tarte Setting powder is that it works really well for both areas of my face. This powder has a slight yellow tint to it that I find really brightens my under-eyes and it has been my go to powder for setting my under-eye concealer.
This powder is also perfect for the face. It is so finely milled that it literally melts into my skin. My face does not look powdery or cakey, no matter how much I apply. I have oily-combination skin and I find that this setting powder keeps me matte throughout the day. However, it does not cling to or emphasize any of my dry areas.
I am also in love with the smell of this powder. It smells like a vanilla dessert and I cannot get enough! I also really enjoy the packaging of this product. At the beginning, it was difficult to get any powder out of the packaging. However, now that I have used some of the powder – I am not having that issue and it dispenses normally.
I honestly LOVE the Tarte Cosmetics Rainforest of the Sea Filtered Light Setting Powder. If you are looking for a new setting powder, I would definitely recommend purchasing this one. I cannot stop reaching for it.
