The Sephora VIB Sale is almost over and to be honest, I am thankful. I have placed 1 online order and made 2 in-store purchases. I just can’t help myself! So, I thought I would share what I purchased from the Sephora VIB Sale (including what item was so awful that I have already returned it).
SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO AIRBRUSH CONCEALER BRUSH #57 – Oh my goodness, I love this concealer brush! I bought it to use to apply the Nars concealer and they are a match made in heaven. I actually like this brush to apply AND blend out my concealer (maybe even more than my beauty blender).
DIOR ADDICT LIP GLOW COLOR REVIVER BALM IN BERRY – I own and love this tinted lip balm in the shade pink. It is the perfect product to throw in your purse as it is moisturizing and adds a hint of color. The shade Berry looks scary but it is very sheer and beautiful on the lips. On my lips, it shows up pink (just darker and slightly brighter than the original pink Lip Glow).
FRESH SOY FACE CLEANSER – This cleanser smells like cucumbers and is SO gentle. It is perfect for the days where my skin feels incredibly dehydrated and dry. It does a great job of cleansing your skin without stripping it (this product is a repurchase for me).
INVISIBOBBLE – The aisle of doom got me once again! (You know which one I am talking about). I have recently seen so many bloggers rave about these hair ties. This product promises to prevent headaches and split ends. I also bought these because I thought they would be much cuter to store in my purse than a typical hair band. (I got black to blend in with my dark hair)
NARS SOFT MATTE COMPLETE CONCEALER IN CUSTARD – I have heard so much hype about this product it is insane. I have used it for a few days now and am still making up my mind. It is good, but I am not sure that it is as great as everyone says it is. I still prefer this concealer.
TOM FORD FOR MEN COLOGNE – My husband was with me during one of my shopping trips and ended up on the cologne aisle. He has only owned one bottle of cologne in the 10 years that we have been together so I was excited when he found this cologne. It smells manly and sexy and I love it! Here are the notes according to the Sephora site: Lemon Leaf Oil, Black Pepper, Tobacco Leaf Absolute, Grapefruit Extract, Amber and Leatherwood.
TARTE RAINFOREST OF THE SEA COLOR SPLASH LIPSTICK IN RUM PUNCH – I love the formula of these Tarte lipsticks. They are so creamy and comfortable yet incredibly pigmented. I picked up the shade Rum Punch which is a true nude.
DRUNK ELEPHANT LALA RETRO WHIPPED CREAM – I made friends with the sales associate at Sephora and told her that I desperately needed a night cream that provided a ton of moisture. She instantly showed me this product from Drunk Elephant. I have been dying to try more products from this brand and it is an Allure Best of Beauty Winner so I have a feeling it will be good. I have only tried this product in store but I was shocked at how quickly it absorbed into my skin. The sales associate at Sephora told me that you only need to use a small amount due to the 6 oils that provide a ton of moisturization. Stay tuned for my review…
CLARISONIC DEEP PORE BRUSH HEAD – Y’all know by now that I absolutely love my Clarisonic. I am currently using one of the more gentle brush heads and wanted to repurchase the Deep Pore Brush Head. This does SUCH a good job of providing a deep cleanse. I would recommend only using it once a day (or less).
BOBBI BROWN ART STICK LIQUID LIP – I love the brand Bobbi Brown but this product is AWFUL. (This is the product that I have already returned). I picked up the shade Honey Bare after hearing Alex Garza rave about it. The color is really pretty but I am not exactly sure how to describe the formula. I would not consider it a traditional liquid lipstick or a lipstick. The formula is OK but the packaging is seriously awful. It is a squeeze tube and you have to squeeze SO hard. If you watched my Snapchat video you saw my hand SHAKING from how hard I was having to squeeze to get any product out. Plus, the applicator is hard and uncomfortable to apply on your lips. AND it is messy and gets product all over it. This is honestly one of the worst products that I have tried in a long time and I would not recommend it.
What did you pick up from the Sephora VIB Sale?! Have you tried any of the items that I hauled?
