The Too Faced Born This Way Foundation did not work for me. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL when I first applied it on my skin (probably the prettiest finish for a foundation I have ever tried) but it did NOT hold up well on my oily skin. However, when I saw that Too Faced released their Born This Way Concealer I could not wait to try it.
The formula (easy to blend), consistency (creamy) and coverage (medium) is very similar to the Urban Decay Naked Concealer. Just like the UD concealer, it has a doe foot wand. However, the UD wand is very soft and flat on both sides, which I love. I am able to use each side for each eye and this allows me to not have to dip the wand back into the container to get more product. The Too Faced wand is more stiff and only has one usable side. So, I need to dip my wand back into the container to get more product for my second under-eye.
This product applies beautifully. However, within a few hours, this concealer creased SO badly on me and settled into all my lines. I am disappointed because all of the reviews on this product seem to be great. I tried setting it with two different powders and both days, it creased horribly on my skin. So, this product gets a thumbs down from me and I will be returning it to Ulta. (Just a side note, had it not creased, I still would have preferred my Urban Decay Naked Concealer because I like it’s applicator wand much better).
Have you tried this concealer? What did you think?
