Osea Malibu is a vegan, organic skincare line made with seaweed. You may have seen this line if you have visited some of the most luxurious spas in the world (Four Seasons, St. Regis, etc.) I also heard that Jessica Biel uses this line, and who doesn’t want their skin to look like hers?! After receiving and loving their Atmosphere Protection Cream in my FabFitFun box I was lucky enough to receive a few more products to sample!
Let me start this post by saying that I absolutely love when a brand takes the time to find out what your skincare wants and needs are. The lovely Mary at Osea Malibu worked with me to determine what products would suit my skin the best. The result? I loved everything I tried! Some of these products are geared towards oily & blemish-prone skin. If you have a different skin-type, I would recommend you review their website for recommendations based on your needs.
This gentle cleanser works for all skin types. The first thing that I noticed about this cleanser was the INCREDIBLE smell. I was expecting something made of algae to smell disgusting and it is probably the best smelling skincare product that I own! This cleanser is very gentle and leaves my skin feeling very soft. I prefer something more “powerful” at night, but I am loving this cleanser in the morning.
The Osea Malibu site describes this product as a “light, non-greasy moisturizer that actively heals blemishes and gently hydrates without clogging pores”. Um, sold! This is a great moisturizer to apply under your makeup if you have oily skin. This product feels very soothing on my skin and once again, smells amazing!
This mask appears red in the pump but when you apply it on your face you cannot tell you have a mask on. This product is supposed to “heal breakouts and purify pores” without over-drying your skin. I really enjoyed this as a mask and as a spot-treatment on my acne. (The Mario Badescu Drying Lotion is my holy grail spot treatment product. However, it BURNS and STINGS. It is super effective but it feels like you are applying something on your skin that you shouldn’t be.) This product was as effective yet felt nice and comfortable on my skin.
Have you tried anything from Osea Malibu?!
