The Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso is my favorite blush from the drugstore. The Milani Baked Blush formula is also my favorite blush formula from the drugstore. So, when I saw that Milani released two new shades: Rosa Romantica and Bella Bellini I HAD to have them.
The Milani website describes this blush as a light pink. First of all, this blush is stunning in the pan. The veining is very noticeable and it is honestly just beautiful to look at. When I swatch this blush, it is a very light pink, almost a rose gold. It is luminous and iredescent and medium-to-deep skin-tones might find this shade better suited as a highlight. This shade did not work for my medium skin-tone as a blush. However, it looks REALLY pretty on my cheekbones as a highlight.
The Milani website describes this blush as a rose gold. I actually do not find this description accurate at all. When swatched, it is a very bright barbie pink with hints of rose gold and gold reflects. Once applied, it is a very pretty, somewhat subtle, pink. DUPE ALERT: This blush is a 100% dupe for Nars Orgasm!!
Compared to Luminoso
I thought it would be helpful to compare both of these new Milani blushes to the cult favorite Luminoso. Luminoso is more of a peachy-pink shade while these two new shades are true pinks.
What do you think of the new Milani Baked Blushes in Rosa Romantica and Bella Bellini? Overall, these shades live up to my expectations. They are just as good as the other Milani Baked Blushes that I have tried. If you are looking for a peach shade, I would stick with Luminso. Otherwise, I think that these two new blushes from Milani will be very pretty on light to medium skintones.
