I recently received a super exciting package containing the Milk Makeup Eye Pigments. I have been loving the Milk Makeup Blur Stick (reviewed here) so I was really excited to try another product from this brand.
What They Are:
The Milk Makeup Eye Pigments are very pigmented cream eyeshadows that come in a squeeze tube. These shadows are incredibly long-wearing. I actually had trouble scrubbing some of them off my arm while I was swatching them.
There is a wide variety of shade options in this range. I found that the more wearable colors actually contained the most glitter and the most vibrant colors contained the least amount of glitter.
Descriptions obtained from the Sephora website.
- Hotel Lobby – Champagne
- Gig – Bronze
- After Party – Light Pink
- All Nighter – Charcoal
- Peep Show – Taupe
- Rave – Bright Purple
- Sesh – Royal Blue
- Mermaid Parade – Green
- Rager – Ice Blue
- Jam Room – Iridescent Lavender
- Silent Disco – Brown
How to Apply
I recommend using your finger to apply these cream shadows. They are very pigmented so you do not need to use a lot. They set very quickly and are incredibly long wearing.
I absolutely love the packaging of these products. There is something about Milk Makeup’s packaging that makes them so different from most other brands on the market. I also appreciate the fact that you can tell which color each product is just by looking at the Milk logo on the packaging. The shade names are super cute as well (I mean how can you not smile when you hear the name “Mermaid Parade”?)
If you want a very pigmented, long-wearing eyeshadow – look no further. These Milk Makeup Eye Pigments literally do not move or crease. I also like the huge variety in the range: there are some incredibly wearable shades that can be used to add a slight pop of shimmer to a wearable eye look (Hotel Lobby, Gig, After Party). There are also some VERY pigmented, bright vibrant colors that can be used for a colorful eye look (Rave, Sesh, Mermaid Parade).
What do you think of these Milk Makeup Eye Pigments? Will you be picking any up?
