I love that Estee Lauder came out with a second makeup line, the Estee Edit. This new line is geared towards the “younger” crowd. As soon as I saw the Estee Edit Pore Vanishing Stick I knew this would be the first product that I wanted to try from the Estee Edit line.
Here is my major problem with this product – it is called the Pore Vanishing Stick, yet I noticed no difference in the appearance of my pores. Honestly, if this product was called “Smoothing Primer” or something along those lines, I would probably be raving about it. I have been applying this primer prior to applying my foundation and it goes on really smoothly. It provides a great base for my foundation and I love the way that my makeup feels on top of it. But does it make any noticeable difference in the appearance of my pores? Absolutely not. (I also tried applying this product on top of my foundation and there was no noticeable difference in the appearance of my pores.)
If you are looking for a nice makeup base that creates a smooth canvas for your makeup, the Estee Edit Pore Vanishing Stick. would be a good choice. If you are hoping that this diminishes the appearance of your pores – just know that it did not work for me.
