If you have followed my blog for a while now then you have probably noticed a trend: I prefer high-end makeup over drugstore makeup. However, there are a few drugstore products that I am absolutely in love with. In fact, I tend to reach for these products over ALL of my high-end makeup products.
This blush by Milani has been hyped-up because of Beauty YouTuber Nikkie Tutorials. And for good reason! This blush is absolutely gorgeous. It gives my cheeks such a beautiful, natural glow.
For the past few months, I have been reaching for this bronzer from Physician’s Formula over all of my high-end bronzers. The smell is incredible and the color is absolutely gorgeous for adding warmth to your face. For my medium skin-tone, I prefer the shade “Bronzer”.
I love buying mascara, but this is an area that I absolutely think you can save money on. My FAVORITE mascara of all-time is probably this one from Maybelline. It provides so much length and volume and it retails for under $10. There is nothing worse than spending $30 on a high-end mascara, only to have to throw it away after a few months.
This is not makeup, but this makeup remover from the drugstore is AMAZING and retails for under $5. I have seriously been using this since I first started wearing makeup. I never hear anyone talk about it. Plus, makeup companies tend to majorly over-charge for makeup removers/cleansing balms, etc. If you have not tried this product to remove your makeup – do it now!
There are other drugstore products that I do really enjoy, but that I would never choose OVER my high-end products. The products that I included in this post are SO good, that I could give up my high end products and only use these. Well, that may be a stretch, but you get the point! What drugstore makeup do you actually prefer over high-end products?!
