*Thank you to Conture for sponsoring this post. As always, my readers are my top priority and my opinions are 100% my own.
This year, I turned 31. That means that I am officially worried about fine lines and wrinkles! As a result, I have started to incorporate more anti-aging products into my skincare routine. I recently received a new skincare device that I am really excited to try. It is called the Conture Single Speed Skin Enhancement System. This product is a facial device that was inspired by treatments provided in professional medical spas. It is basically like a vacuum for your face that is supposed to treat signs of aging quickly and painlessly. Quickly and painlessly? Consider me officially intrigued!
According to the Conture website, “the Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System utilizes Isometric Compression combined with Low Frequency Vibrations to gently stimulate and tone skin for a more youthful looking appearance. This technology is similar to those used, and once only available by professionals in med-spas and skin centers.”
Another benefit of the Conture Skin Enhancement System that really intrigued me is the claim that it improves the skin’s natural ability to absorb topicals (lotions, creams, etc.) by 300%. To me, this meant that the excessive amounts of money that I am currently spending on my high-end moisturizers and night creams would be more “worth it” if I used these products in conjunction with the Conture System. In fact, this benefit of the Conture system was the most exciting for me.
The Conture Kinetic Skin Toning System comes with:
- Conture Device
- Kinetic Treatment Serum (15 ml) – a anti-wrinkle serum that builds collagen and reduces wrinkles
- Kinetic AM Ignition Lotion (15 ml) – anti-aging moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid
- Kinetic PM Recovery Creme (15 ml) – intensive night cream that helps your skin recover
- USB Charging Cord
- User Manual
The Conture Device has three settings: Face (for your jawline, upper lip, chin, jaw, cheek, brow and forehead areas), Mild (for delicate areas), and Neck.
My First Impression
I have been using this device for a week now and I wanted to share my initial thoughts. I was a little scared that this product would hurt but it is not painful at all. You only feel a slight pulling on your skin. I also love that you can really customize this product – it has 2 different heads that you can attach and 3 different settings. I like that you can adjust the device to work exactly how you need it to. I also really enjoyed the touch screen, it looks very sleek and high tech.
I assumed that you continuously moved the device along your skin and that it would take a minute or two to cover your face and neck. However, it is much more time consuming than that. You apply the Conture system to your face and keep it in one place for 2-3 seconds. Then, you move it slightly and repeat the same thing over and over. I found that it took close to 10 minutes to cover my face and neck. So, this product is definitely a commitment.
Overall, I am excited to continue using this product. I plan on using the Conture Skin Enhancement System for the next month and posting an updated review. I think that skincare devices like these take a little time to see the actual results. So, I expect that I should have my real opinion of this product after using it for a month or so. Stay tuned for my full review!
