As a total blush junkie, I HAD to have one of the brand new Anastasia Blush Trios. I was so excited to see this product released on the ABH site and the different color options are absolutely beautiful.
Here is what Anastasia says about these blush trios:
Full pigment blush for buildable intensity with a seamless finish. Layer more than one shade of Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio for a multi-dimensional, naturally flushed look.
Each palette comes with three coordinating blushes. I had a hard time narrowing it down, but I went with the Peachy Love trio.
The packaging is absolutely adorable. I love the logo design on the front of the compact. The packaging also feels substantial (not cheap) and I love the clicking noise it makes when it closes (so satisfying). It also comes with a very large, nice mirror.
These blushes retail for $30 for .11 oz. So, you are paying $10 per blush. For reference, a Nars blush also retails for $30 and is .16 oz. So, the price per ounce is on the expensive side but you get 3 different blushes.
These blushes have very good pigmentation. The three shades in this palette are: Nectarine (a matte dusty peach), Ginger (a matte toasted coral) and Miami (a matte bright peach with gold sparkle). The middle shade in the Peachy Love trio (Ginger) is very pigmented and I have to apply it with a light hand. The other two shades are more buildable.
Overall, I enjoyed the Anastasia blush trios. I think they are a good value and there is a great shade range. However, there are definitely a couple of blush formulas that I think are better (like this one and this one). The Anastasia Blush Trios are now available on the Anastasia website. They will be available at Sephora, Ulta, Macys and Dillards on June 13th (and in stores June 23rd).
